HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY NAJWA!

To my readers, I was told countless times that I have too many girl friends. Among all those girls, I can say Najwa Musa is on the top. Because she wanna be on top waaan, cannot meh? But seriously no one knows me inside out more than this chick. I think even my own mother didn't know as much?! 

When I was in school, you can never see Najwa without me tagging along and laughing to people's faces like nobody business. The teachers never bothered when she and I made crazy stuffs around the school. Seriously, they just go "ouh...*pandang tempat lain*. There are countless joyful memories with this legendary Najwa Musa. I think without her my high school life wouldn't be much interesting. Ouh and her camera helps, somehow her camera made us the random-est thing ever. 

Like any kind of relationships, our friendship never stayed on the straight line. We had our fights and we had our sorry. I know my friendship with her can last long-long like janggut orang cina dalam cartoon because whatever shits that happened, we still find ourselves some how in need of each other. I know we both kind ego to agree on this. Well, I'm not sure how she feels but I know I do need her in my life. She's that special. Now we're in college, it's nice to catch up with each other because we both now enjoying different circle of friends.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ONCE AGAIN!
p/s: do you noticed in pictures, most of the time you're on the left and im on the right? LOL

I haven't been using my iPod for about 6 months now.

Due to several reasons:

1. It’s fucking old iPod. 30GB U2 Edition I bought in 2005.

2. The battery life only last for a few hours.

3. Ever since I wear skinny jeans, that thing is like a brick in my pocket.

4. Having an iPod is no longer cool to the society since everyone can afford it.

Sometimes I do miss my iPod. I remember saying that I can’t live without my iPod. I listen to songs using my BlackBerry nowadays. Somehow it has better sound EQ than my old iPod. I might get my sister’s iPod Mini since she bought an iPhone 3Gs. So fingers crossed.

I seriously can't be bias to only one favourite song. If a person knew me well, they'll know that I kept changing my favourite song every month. I decided to breakdown my list of favourite songs into genres. I guess it's fair right? 


1. Pop


OneRepublic - Apologize (Original Version)


I love the original version of this song better because it has that haunting feeling about it. I still remember listening to this song while studying for my SPM Trial exam. It really did calm my nerve a lil bit. 


2. Rock


Seventytimes7 - Brand New.


This song is about how a girlfriend cheated on her boyfriend for his best friend. Cliché much? The angst in this song is fucking aye! Somehow I can relate myself to the angst when something similar happened to me once. I got over it of course (after months). 


3. Punk


Beautiful Girl - Taking Back Sunday


The only thing made this song my favourite punk song is when Adam Lazzara (the Lead Vocal) describe his persona of a beautiful girl in the beginning of the song.

Come on. The song itself is called Just Dance, for sure it's my favourite Dance song. I first heard it when Lady GaGa performed the song at Miss Universe pageant, and she was quite unknown at that time. I can never get tired of this song. It's like an epic dance song.

MGMT - Kids


Tell me who doesn't love this song? It's like Barsonic/Lapsap anthem song! This song was my ringtone for months and some people got to know the song because of it. The catchy tunes just cant get from our head and it's not annoying at all.

I can't say much on this, the song just made a person floating. Isn't it?


7. Hip Hop (Rap)


Eminem - Stan


I honestly don't listen to much Hip-Hop or Rap song, but when I made the list just now all I can think of is this song. I love how the song used Dido's song "Thank You" and actually tell a story.


8. Alternative


The Killers - When You Were Young


Among all the The Killers songs, I like this one the best. There's a remix version that's fucking awesome too! It was a devastating news to me when I found out the band dismembered. =(


9. Indie 


Arctic Monkey - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor


This is actually the first indie song I ever listen to. Seriously. I got to know about Arctic Monkey when I read about them on the Times magazine in early 2006. At that time none of my friends knew about them. I was so cool to "discovered" the band before them all at that time!

Dixie Chicks - Not Ready To Make Nice


I know I'll shocked some of my friends by not putting Taylor Swift as my favourite country but to be honest Taylor Swift's songs arent country enough, more pop-ish. This song however is a great country song, it won Grammy for best song of the year summore!

I can't remember how I got to know about this song, I think it was from a youtube video or something. But I can't get enough of this song. Actually this song tops my iTunes most played list. =)

Band ni la satu-satunya band local yang aku dengar. Lagu ni gak la lagu melayu yang aku rasa paling most played aku pernah dengar. Gila babi beb...eh tak payah ah cakap cam rempit kan? Hahaha. Apa-apa pun, lagu ni memang best gila and di minati ramai tak kira bangsa, agama and lain-lain2.

Comfortable White Sheets

The Heat

One thing I hate about living is the heat. How can a person can survive a year long heat like this? Fuck man. I don't even understand there are fair people around me still. I think I've gone darker day by day thanks to the Lord's greatest gift to the human kind, The Sun. I'm surviving the heat only by protection given by the sunblock moisturiser which I stole from my mum's dressing table. I noticed sunblock only protects you from harmful rays from the sun but not like fully block the sun from your face. You know like there's an invincible barrier between the sunlight and the skin. If only technology evolves faster and make that kind of stuff, I'll buy a lifetime supply for sure.

The other thing why I hate the heat is because it made me sweat like fuck. Ever since little i sweat a lot. Even my ass sweats, like when I sit down for assembly and I got up there's like a sweat mark of my ass on the floor. It's quite embarrassing really. Sweats made my hair gone mad too, it'll go *poof!* puffy. The best thing sweat+heat ever done to me is oily skin + acne. Seriously, I'm blessed.

I wanna live in the gay town of Forks, since there according to Twilight, had the least sunshine year long.

Taylor's Lakeside Campus (TLC)

Today was my first day studying at Lakeside Campus. Well not quite really, I wasn't studying while I was there today because class was cancelled and it was my only class for today. Thanks a lot Miss Yee. She told the class, "Alright class, no attendance will be taken today. Free flow attendance!". I was standing next to her and I asked her loudly, "Free flow?? Where's the drinks?". She looked at me and turned to the class and said, "Not free flow drinks ok?". LOL. She's my favourite lecturer now.

Well Lakeside Campus, I'm having a love-hate relationship with it right now. I like everything about it's newness and humongousness but I hate the very fact that we can't smoke anywhere within campus area. I mean, true even Sunway didn't allowed it but at least the side gates were effing close to the campus. At lakeside it's either we walked outside the front gate or to the carpark to smoke. Either way, it's fucking far and hot! But then again, a few of us actually smoked at the end staircases and behind the Experimental Theater. All the smokers agreed that we felt like in high school sneaking around to get some smoke. LOL.

Finding a place to eat there was hard. Matt, Putri and I wanted to eat at the student's restaurant but they don't accept walk-ins. Fuck, they told us that when we already seated nicely at the table. I asked the front desk if they accept walk-ins and he said yes. I know I shouldn't trust him because he's fucking blur chings that cant speak very well. But the one at cafeteria operated by the student is alright. I had their Olio for lunch, although it was too oily but the taste was alright. Told my mum the foods are expensive, so I'm getting extra allowance. Woohoo!

The immature tactics wont pass through me, just so we clear. So stop embarrassing yourself by trying or trying harder. I'm not saying this out of anger but merely an advice. EPIC FAIL!

I actually stared at the blank post box for about 10 minutes. I want to say I'm sorry I've left this blog abandoned but who am I talking to anyway. I'm well aware nobody read this sad excuse for a blog.

But somehow I determined to once again update this blog. The reason why this blog failed miserably is due to several factors. I'm trying to overcome those factors and try to be a better blogger. I miss my blogger days years ago and I want to relive that era. 

One of the factor why I failed on this blog is because I'm not getting any viewers or followers. Gee I know, I only posted like four posts and I'm expecting hundreds of followers a day? I need a smack of reality seriously. 

So to get my blog to be constantly updated and to get viewers and followers is by advertising. One of the most fundamental technique used by many. I need to ask my friends, especially my blogger friends to recommend my blog to their blogosphere. 

But the blog has to be interesting and intriguing to begin with. That's where my problem lies. I do think I have so much to share but sometimes I think my life is too explicit and might come as disturbing and wild to some people. But I must over come this and programmed myself to speak out. 

So we shall see now, will I ever be a blogger again? =(

I blame the Skyy

Sorry for the lack of updates, I was having a really busy week this week. There were a lot of presentations going on and plus I am not feeling well. I rarely gotten sick really. I mean I do get occasional cough or morning flu but nothing last longer than a day. I hate it when I got sick because I'll be having mood swings. It's weird really. At one time am alright, suddenly I'll be moody, pissy and quiet. I can't control that emotions. Does this how women felt when they got their PMS monthly? I seriously can't stand it.

Anyway, being sick didn't stop me to have fun this week. On wednesday night a few of my friends and I decided to get some drinking session at Bangsar. I was supposed to go to the MAC make up event at MidValley that evening but I look like shit and feel like shit. I don't want people look at me weirdly when I cough my lungs out there. We were at Bangsar around midnight and I saw my college's lecturer there. It was funny! xD 

We sat at Solaris and open a bottle of Skyy Citrus. I brought my laptop with me because I have a presentation the next morning, at 8AM! yes, and I was quite drunk. I have this habit where I drunktweet. See how technology evolves, from drunkcall to drunktext and now drunktweet. It was embarrassing seriously. But the thing is my alcohol tolerance is getting better because I know I was drunk but I still can control and I wasnt flat drunk like I used to be. *Proud*

The next morning I realises that I came home and was still in my clothes, and my mum didn't really asked why I was all dressed to bed. I guess she's still twinkley2 from waking up in the morning. I was late to catch my bus so I didnt shower. The hang over hit me in the bus. God damn it. It was torture. Everyone at college was like "Ibnu are you ok?", especially my teammate for my presentation, they were concern but I did alright. I skipped all my classes that day and slept at the Library.

Okay, I actually wrote something very clever but I cleverly deleted it by mistake. Anyway, I categorised myself as a toilet singer because I seriously can't sing. I've tried to sing but I  sounded good only to my own ears, sad case really. Weird when I remembered when I was in kindergarden I was the lead chorus and had to sing a few songs for my story telling performances during primary school. I guess when I reached puberty, my singing voice has gone forever. God just won't let me sing anymore and who am I to questioned Him right? LOL. Also I can't play the guitar. I've tried to learn it but I just can't find the time to practice and learn new chords.

So all I can do now is to admire people who can sing. I love acoustic cover versions of songs made by amateur singers on YouTube. So here I've listed down five of my absolute favourite covers.

Rock Climbing

Since I was a little, I'm not an active person. I mean I do run around chasing my friends when i was kid and was a boy scout but never a sportsman. My dad once was concern about this so he took me to play football at Righa Royal and I end up enjoying the sea view and seeing people swimming at the large pool. I am not a fan of football. I know I'll anger some football fans if I say the game is kind of pointless. But I did spent my entire PE periods during my school years playing football, for four years. People always say, you're macho and a real man if you play and love football. I think it's a total bullshit. There are a lot of macho and real man who are not into football as much out there. 

I've always wanted to take up sports but I found that I can never been good at any. Until my friend told me about Rock Climbing. She's in love with climbing till she got an internship with Blocx, a company that made those climbing trails. She always talked about how fun climbing is so I told her I'd give it a try. I told her that ages ago because we both can't find the perfect time to climb together but yesterday another friend of mine, Sophie, asked if I would be interested to join her climbing. I said yes!

We climbed at Camp 5, a rock climbing 'facility' at One Utama. I had to filled up a form and given a Guest card. I think you need a Host, a person who has knowledge on climbing or a member, to entitled you as a Guest. Alif was my host yesterday, Sophie's friend. Alif used to be my tuitionmate during my PMR year (2005) and he's now some sort of a well known person. He told me I look familiar so I told him why and he remembered. I bet he lied because I rarely talk at that tuition center. 

Anyway, climbing is fun! I tried the easy wall first. I thought when you climb, you can just grip and step on any "rocks" but it's actually colour coded. I mean, when you climb you choose which rock colour for your trail. Alif was my belay, i don't know how to explain this but go here if you wanted to know more : Belaying. He was my belay for the tall wall too. I pitied him because it took me a looooooong time to reached the top. Hey cut me some slack, it was my first time right? Furthermore, I have zero stamina since I didn't exercise for almost a year now. So I guess my muscles were in shocked because till now I can feel my muscles cramp.

Overall, it was a fun experience. I want to go again for sure and I have a feeling this will be a hobby of mine and for the first time, I enjoyed a sport. To me, I find that rock climbing is fun because it involve your mentality as well as your stamina. When I stepped on my first rock, all I can think of to reach the top (of course at times I felt like giving up but Alif kept shouting at me from below). I didn't even noticed I've sweat, when I lowered myself down I was surprised to see my hair and my back were all wet. I smiled and satisfied. I've met a few regular climbers that day and they seems nice. Danial told me he lost about 7 kg after 3 weeks climbing. How awesome is that!? I shall schedule next visit with my friends and want to try harder trails. Can you believe it? I'm actually excited over a sport.

New Hair Cut!

I woke up today to find there's a spot on my pillow. A red spot. I was like " which virgin did i popped last night?". Actually it was from my ear piercing. It has been two weeks since I pierced and I didn't take the piercing out to clean and change the stud. It swells and hurt like a bitch and I did tried to take it out myself but it seems like it got stuck or something. I tried to pull the stud will all my strength but all it did was to swell even more, so I gave up.

Anyway, I went to KLCC to get some new clothes. I bought two new shirts today and I still need to find other Zara stores that have the shirt I've been eyeing in my size. I wanted to get shorts but I need to get my haircut first. So I went to a salon called "Saw" with Faiqah (she was at KLCC too). Ever since Lily went missing from TTDI's Peek-A-Boo, I didn't stick to one salon or stylist. So I was kind of nervous when this lady chopping off my hair. I distract myself by talking loads of shits with Faiqah. The lady was like "woah so many stories ah you guys?". LOL

I kindda like my new hair. I got all the damaged ends chopped off and it looks cleaner now. But I do look like a kid, an Indian kid. Not to be racist but I really do with this hair cut. Damn, I need to color my hair a few shades lighter so I wont be looking like an Indian kid. LOL. Hair will grow so I am not worried. For now. LOL

also I need to diet and stop eating. I've gone fat =(

Of Hiatus and Holiday Haircuts

Sorry I haven't been updating much on my blog. I went hiatus on blogging for a while because I felt that I've abandoned my Tumblr for too long and I'm loosing followers. So instead of updating my blog, I've been updating my Tumblr. You guys should check it out here : Do The Nunu I guess I finally accept the fact that Tumblarity will never come back to Tumblr. =( 

Oh, I've changed my blog layout! Feel free to explore! I even added a background music. I usually hate blogs with musics because sometime the idiot blogger put some hardcore band songs in his/her blog. How the hell you expect reader to read your post with that kind of music? But anyway, I chose a nice song for you guys to listen. I'll be updating the playlist once in a while so you guys wont stuck with the same song every time. =D

So what's been going on with me huh? Not that much really. I'm having my CNY festive holiday now and you know what happens to me on every the holiday? Slacking, Eating and Sleeping all week long. That's why I hate  short breaks like this. You'll end up looking fat and disgusting when the college reopens. I am yet to go to open houses! Yi Ching invited me to go to hers this Saturday. She just moved in so it'll be a newly renovated and redecorated house, should be nice.

I'm going out tomorrow to do some shopping with my mum at KLCC and might go Pavilion to cut my hair. I wish Bernice is around because she's my salon partner now. I remember one time we were sweating from walking to Pavilion from KLCC and then we end up at a salon. I had a hair cut and she had a hair washed. We walked out from the salon with confidence of not looking like shit. LOL. Anyway, I intended to grow my hair longer but it's such a hassle. I hate waking up early in the morning and have to blow dry and iron straight my hair. =(

We shall see if my haircut turns out great tomorrow. Ciao.

the 7th

I couldn't sleep and I havent done ANYTHING for my assignments. I'm skipping English class tomorrow to do my Construction assignment I guess. Fuck this shit. I forgot to buy the cough syrup because that's the only thing that I depended on whenever I needed to sleep. I know I'm fucked up but ouh well, better cough syrup than crystal meth. I fucking tired and yet I'm not sleepy. I'm like a zombie. I tried to sleep as soon as i felt tired but I'll wake up after an hour or so then I can't get back to sleep. Seriously I need medical attention! I need to redo all my sketches because I'm not proud and satisfied with the one I sketched last week. I need a proper sketch book because the one I have right now is dumbfucked . 

Nevertheless, today was a fun day at college!

Taylor's Lakeside Campus

Last wednesday, the whole new January intake students were invited for yet another Orientation at the new Lakeside Campus. I was pretty much excited about this because I never been to the new campus before. I went to my morning class which was English 1, the class was hella boring. It was a listening exercise class where students have to listen to short conversations at given situations and write down some shits. It's like my TOEFL class all over again. Sigh, I thought English class would be like essay writings and shits. I mean we did made a movie review on the first class, but the movie was Wall.E. To hell with that shits.

Met Fairuz, Amalina and Louis at Media Hub, then went lunch at "Krispy Chicken" and met Faiqah there. Then we went to Buzz's house. It was a funny car ride with them, they sang their lungs out throughout the journey. LOL. And we were literally screaming when a BMW 6-Series passes us on the highway. Hahaha. Fairuz dropped Louis and I off at Buzz's while the rest went to Amalina's to get something. Buzz's house is nice specially his jamming/av room and I love the new iMac.

Zafran picked us up and off we went to the Lakeside Campus. The campus is awesome and HUGE! Way way waaaay better than Sunway or INTI. The cafeteria is huge and spacey. The classrooms are nice and the Lecturer Theaters are the shits. The dudes went to this talk about Safety While Staying at KL, I think. It was a funny talk because the speaker talks like Borat. Seriously! He even took out a dildo and asked a volunteer to put on a condom onto it (he was talking about safe sex).

Then we went to Pink at Sunway. Funny to see Taylor's people at Sunway's territory but I like Pink. It's better than the cafés at TCPJ now. We were there till 6 then went back to Lakeside Campus. There were supposedly a "party" at the MPH, but it was soooo dead. Like literally dead. People were totally clueless there that time, wondering what the fuck they all were doing there. I stayed for a while then Buzz, Zafran and I left, the others too I guess only few stayed till 10pm I heard.
