HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY NAJWA!

To my readers, I was told countless times that I have too many girl friends. Among all those girls, I can say Najwa Musa is on the top. Because she wanna be on top waaan, cannot meh? But seriously no one knows me inside out more than this chick. I think even my own mother didn't know as much?! 

When I was in school, you can never see Najwa without me tagging along and laughing to people's faces like nobody business. The teachers never bothered when she and I made crazy stuffs around the school. Seriously, they just go "ouh...*pandang tempat lain*. There are countless joyful memories with this legendary Najwa Musa. I think without her my high school life wouldn't be much interesting. Ouh and her camera helps, somehow her camera made us the random-est thing ever. 

Like any kind of relationships, our friendship never stayed on the straight line. We had our fights and we had our sorry. I know my friendship with her can last long-long like janggut orang cina dalam cartoon because whatever shits that happened, we still find ourselves some how in need of each other. I know we both kind ego to agree on this. Well, I'm not sure how she feels but I know I do need her in my life. She's that special. Now we're in college, it's nice to catch up with each other because we both now enjoying different circle of friends.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ONCE AGAIN!
p/s: do you noticed in pictures, most of the time you're on the left and im on the right? LOL

I haven't been using my iPod for about 6 months now.

Due to several reasons:

1. It’s fucking old iPod. 30GB U2 Edition I bought in 2005.

2. The battery life only last for a few hours.

3. Ever since I wear skinny jeans, that thing is like a brick in my pocket.

4. Having an iPod is no longer cool to the society since everyone can afford it.

Sometimes I do miss my iPod. I remember saying that I can’t live without my iPod. I listen to songs using my BlackBerry nowadays. Somehow it has better sound EQ than my old iPod. I might get my sister’s iPod Mini since she bought an iPhone 3Gs. So fingers crossed. 

Day 1- My Favourite Song

I seriously can't be bias to only one favourite song. If a person knew me well, they'll know that I kept changing my favourite song every month. I decided to breakdown my list of favourite songs into genres. I guess it's fair right? 


1. Pop


OneRepublic - Apologize (Original Version)


I love the original version of this song better because it has that haunting feeling about it. I still remember listening to this song while studying for my SPM Trial exam. It really did calm my nerve a lil bit. 


2. Rock


Seventytimes7 - Brand New.


This song is about how a girlfriend cheated on her boyfriend for his best friend. Cliché much? The angst in this song is fucking aye! Somehow I can relate myself to the angst when something similar happened to me once. I got over it of course (after months). 


3. Punk


Beautiful Girl - Taking Back Sunday


The only thing made this song my favourite punk song is when Adam Lazzara (the Lead Vocal) describe his persona of a beautiful girl in the beginning of the song.

Lady GaGa - Just Dance


Come on. The song itself is called Just Dance, for sure it's my favourite Dance song. I first heard it when Lady GaGa performed the song at Miss Universe pageant, and she was quite unknown at that time. I can never get tired of this song. It's like an epic dance song.

5. Electro


MGMT - Kids


Tell me who doesn't love this song? It's like Barsonic/Lapsap anthem song! This song was my ringtone for months and some people got to know the song because of it. The catchy tunes just cant get from our head and it's not annoying at all.


6. RnB


Beyoncé - Halo


I can't say much on this, the song just made a person floating. Isn't it?


7. Hip Hop (Rap)


Eminem - Stan


I honestly don't listen to much Hip-Hop or Rap song, but when I made the list just now all I can think of is this song. I love how the song used Dido's song "Thank You" and actually tell a story.


8. Alternative


The Killers - When You Were Young


Among all the The Killers songs, I like this one the best. There's a remix version that's fucking awesome too! It was a devastating news to me when I found out the band dismembered. =(


9. Indie 


Arctic Monkey - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor


This is actually the first indie song I ever listen to. Seriously. I got to know about Arctic Monkey when I read about them on the Times magazine in early 2006. At that time none of my friends knew about them. I was so cool to "discovered" the band before them all at that time! 


10. Country


Dixie Chicks - Not Ready To Make Nice


I know I'll shocked some of my friends by not putting Taylor Swift as my favourite country but to be honest Taylor Swift's songs arent country enough, more pop-ish. This song however is a great country song, it won Grammy for best song of the year summore! 


11. Foreign


Yelle - Je veux te voir


I can't remember how I got to know about this song, I think it was from a youtube video or something. But I can't get enough of this song. Actually this song tops my iTunes most played list. =)


12. Local


Bunkface - Situasi


Band ni la satu-satunya band local yang aku dengar. Lagu ni gak la lagu melayu yang aku rasa paling most played aku pernah dengar. Gila babi beb...eh tak payah ah cakap cam rempit kan? Hahaha. Apa-apa pun, lagu ni memang best gila and di minati ramai tak kira bangsa, agama and lain-lain2.

Comfortable White Sheets

The Heat

One thing I hate about living is the heat. How can a person can survive a year long heat like this? Fuck man. I don't even understand there are fair people around me still. I think I've gone darker day by day thanks to the Lord's greatest gift to the human kind, The Sun. I'm surviving the heat only by protection given by the sunblock moisturiser which I stole from my mum's dressing table. I noticed sunblock only protects you from harmful rays from the sun but not like fully block the sun from your face. You know like there's an invincible barrier between the sunlight and the skin. If only technology evolves faster and make that kind of stuff, I'll buy a lifetime supply for sure.

The other thing why I hate the heat is because it made me sweat like fuck. Ever since little i sweat a lot. Even my ass sweats, like when I sit down for assembly and I got up there's like a sweat mark of my ass on the floor. It's quite embarrassing really. Sweats made my hair gone mad too, it'll go *poof!* puffy. The best thing sweat+heat ever done to me is oily skin + acne. Seriously, I'm blessed.

I wanna live in the gay town of Forks, since there according to Twilight, had the least sunshine year long.

TLC, I don't want no scrub.

Taylor's Lakeside Campus (TLC)

Today was my first day studying at Lakeside Campus. Well not quite really, I wasn't studying while I was there today because class was cancelled and it was my only class for today. Thanks a lot Miss Yee. She told the class, "Alright class, no attendance will be taken today. Free flow attendance!". I was standing next to her and I asked her loudly, "Free flow?? Where's the drinks?". She looked at me and turned to the class and said, "Not free flow drinks ok?". LOL. She's my favourite lecturer now.

Well Lakeside Campus, I'm having a love-hate relationship with it right now. I like everything about it's newness and humongousness but I hate the very fact that we can't smoke anywhere within campus area. I mean, true even Sunway didn't allowed it but at least the side gates were effing close to the campus. At lakeside it's either we walked outside the front gate or to the carpark to smoke. Either way, it's fucking far and hot! But then again, a few of us actually smoked at the end staircases and behind the Experimental Theater. All the smokers agreed that we felt like in high school sneaking around to get some smoke. LOL.

Finding a place to eat there was hard. Matt, Putri and I wanted to eat at the student's restaurant but they don't accept walk-ins. Fuck, they told us that when we already seated nicely at the table. I asked the front desk if they accept walk-ins and he said yes. I know I shouldn't trust him because he's fucking blur chings that cant speak very well. But the one at cafeteria operated by the student is alright. I had their Olio for lunch, although it was too oily but the taste was alright. Told my mum the foods are expensive, so I'm getting extra allowance. Woohoo!
